The Corporate Hub uses the following CV template to secure interviews for candidates. Candidates have different career paths and aspirations and should use the template as a general guideline in compiling a CV.
A CV is a powerful marketing tool and your first contact with a prospective employer.
When compiling your CV consider the following:
- Reason for compiling the document (Think of potential aspirations and future achievements)
- Provide prospective interviewees with relevant information that would attract them to your CV
- Compile your CV while considering the job specification
- Do not use long paragraphs or storyline descriptions
- Be specific and use short, easy to read bullet point descriptions (People generally like to asses a CV at first glance)
- A neat, professional presentation
- Use the same font and format throughout the CV
- Use a simple font and layout (Less is more)
- Make certain that there are an equal amount of spaces between different sections and headings
- Make certain that all bullets are aligned
